AI Data Disclaimer

AI isn't evil, but it is sometimes wrong. This disclaimer explains more about relying on our tools for accurate information, and why things may sometimes go wrong.

General advice

The information shared on Openly Prism and Openly Prism Chat is general in nature and does not take into account your personal situation. You should consider whether the information is appropriate to your needs, and where appropriate, seek professional advice from an appropriate adviser (like a lawyer).

Any legal matters referred to on Openly Prism and Openly Prism Chat are of general nature only and are based on Openly's interpretation of laws existing at the time. These interpretations should not be relied upon in place of appropriate professional advice as laws may change from time to time.

Accuracy

Openly Prism and Openly Prism Chat heavily relies upon machine learning and automated analysis to classify and display information contained within privacy policies.

While we achieve very high accuracy across a variety of tasks, the results are not legally representative or legally binding in any way. Occasionally our analysis may contain mistakes or inaccurately reflect the actual privacy policy of an organisation.

We strongly recommend that every user reads the actual privacy policy of an organisation. We will always make the link to the actual privacy policy of an organisation available within our analysis.

User added privacy policies

Some of the privacy policies in our database are added by users via the 'Add Policy' button.

We will always attempt to verify that the user added privacy policies are actual privacy policies, and not random pages. Despite reaching ~99% accuracy during this verification process, we cannot make any guarantees that all privacy policies are for real websites.

Shortened or split privacy policies

Some organisations may display a shortened version of their privacy policies on their website, and some organisations may split their privacy policy across multiple pages. Our automated analysis may not recognise this practice, which may result in the omission of certain information.
